IT SEEMS

It seems like just yesterday,
I was cheerful in my happy way.

I listened to all the things you had to say.

We walked hand in hand down the street.

We had so many friends to greet.

My world was complete.
It seems like just yesterday,
There was nothing in it I would delete.

It seems that Time stood still,
The moment you left me against your will.

And even now my eyes with tears still fill.

It seems as if Life will never be the same,
Because without you in it there is nothing.
It seems as if Life will never be the same,
Until I see you again.
