So why don't you stay on schedule,

No need to be stubborn like a bull.

I allowed you to set the time,

I allowed you to tell me how high to climb,

But now it's time to claim my freedom,

You can't say do this and then change it.

I've decided to keep on track,

So don't pout and get all filled with tension,

No need to fuss and make a scene.

Go with the flow,

Go with the sound,

So don't give me that face,

No need to act like you've been left behind.

If you don't like the way things are,

You have the power in your hand,

No need to go too far,

Rememebr this was YOUR plan.

A crash course,
A fast thought,
A swift idea,
All adds up to naught.

A missed assignment,
A forgotten test.
You have no book,
Don't give me that look!

I can only do,
40% of the work,
Because your part,
Must come from the heart.

So while I scold,
And you tire of my voice,
You will get told,
So take this sound advice.

Think things well,
And work hard,
For in the end,
You CAN score a ten.

And it will all be,
Like simple ABC,
If you work hard to pass,
To the next class.

You are a a person so fine,

Who can put us all at ease.

You are smart and you are a gift,

Beyond your young innocent years.

With words that take away our fears.

So we tell you our secrets,

Because we know you'll understand,

And if needed, a helping hand.

BECAUSE I KNOW IT'S GOOD FOR ME

I saw the path before me,

And I wondered what it would be.

I heard the voice inside of me,

Urging me to go and see.

So I took the courage and I sought,

The knowledge that the lectureres taught.

I worked hard and sometimes I played,

But my desire never, never failed.

For the things that come and go

Are the things that I must know.

And the things I have to get,

Are within reach for me as yet.

But I am determined to succeed,

I am determined to be all that I can be,

So while I can I take heed,

Because I know it's good for me.

I came to learn,

I'm a Graduate!

I came because more money I can earn,

I am a Graduate!

I came to fulfil a dream,

I am a Graduate!

I came with notebooks so clean,

I am a Graduate!

I came for Mathematics,

I am a Graduate!

I came and learnt Statistics,

I am a Graduate!

I came for English,

I am a graduate!

I came because I had a wish,

I am a Graduate!

I came with a goal,

I came because I am never too old,

I came with a plan,

I took pen into my hand,

I took the Test,

There is no doubt in my mind
That it thinks about you.
There is no doubt in my heart,

There is no doubt in my words,

How did this all happen?
When did I become that woman?
When did my yearning end?
When did you become that man?

CHANGING MY LOVE TO HATE

Was there a sign?

Did I know it was time?

Was it coming on the way?

Will I live through another day?

Every step I make,

Every turn I take,

Seem to be filled with pain,

And its happening again and again.

Why are you doing this,

Is there something that I missed?

I never saw it coming my way,

I still can't believe the things you say.

Where did the person that I knew go?

Why are you hurting me so?

Is there something you can't say,

That makes you act this way?

Now long do you think I'll spend,

When the obvious is we're heading for the end?

Now much more do you think I'll tolerate,

While you change my love to hate?
