LIES, LIES AND MORE LIES

You begin with one and then you can't stop,

You don't realize when you are on the top.

You have to keep them going once you begin,

You have no idea what a mess you are in.

We know what you are doing,

And I want to tell you where you are going,

But you would flare up if I told you,

So I don't know just what to do.

If you could only understand what you do,

Maybe I really should tell you.

But what do you tell someone who talks of honesty,

But whose entire life is filled with dishonesty?

I hope you wake up from all the lies soon,

Before they lead to your apparent doom.

For you are really agreat peron otherwise,

If only you could stop the lies!

I CAN

A Poem dedicated to the Class of Third Years and their Lecturer of YO PUEDO - a Creative Science Class on Motivation, Abel L. Rodriquez

I CAN

Today I rejoice because I CAN,

Today I give thanks because I CAN,

Today all my thought are focused on I CAN,

Today I am alive and I CAN.

Just two little words,

Just TWO little words.

That mean quite a lot,

We are all sure of that.

Because for all the things we do,

For all the times you focus on "YOU",

There must be a base to lead you on,

That is where you focus on "I CAN!"

All you do and all you say,

Can either darken or brighten your day.

So fill your heart with love and peace,

And your thoughts of "I CAN" will never cease.

For YOU CAN and I CAN,

Be much more that we are today,

Because in our hearts we know what to say.

So shout with joy and say YO PUEDO - I CAN!

SOS. HELP BRUNO. Blog Solidarity

The boy in these photos is Bruno Alberto Gentiletti. He disappeared on March 2, 1997 in Rosario's resort called La Florida when he was 9 years old (see first photo).

Bruno has green greyish eyes, chestnut-colored hair, white skin and a scar located in the right scapula. He was born on June 18, 1988 in Las Rosas, Santa Fe, Argentina.

Today Bruno is 19 years old. His family did a study of progression of age at the International Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Bruno would look like the second photo now.

We believe that you can help us find him. So I ask you to send an email with the information and/or the address of this blog http://brunogentiletti.blogspot.com to all your friends and acquaintances, in this country and around the world, so that in turn, they can do the same.

Like Bruno, there are thousands of children who have been denied the right to grow up with their families and they all deserve that an effort be made to find them.
Thank you for YOUR HELP!!!

FAREWELL, THIRD YEARS OF 2008

There is so much I want to say,
There is so much I want to do,
But as we near the last day,
All I can say is I LOVE YOU.

So Anelie, Mairi, Neidi, Sheri and Yazmin,
I wish you mothers all the best,
Be kind and loving to your babies every day,
And God will take care of the rest.

Alfredo, Henri, Urian and Antonio
As the BUNCH there is no doubt,
Your noise, your jokes and your friendship,
Are what you were all about!

Neri, Eloisa and Gabriel,
My Dedicated Three,
Continue to hunger for knowledge,
You were an inspiration to ME.

Nonato, Marlon, Hefner, Tomas and Juan,
Thanks for being different from each and everyone.
Andy, Jair, Oscar and Ingrid,
I know you will succeed, because I believe YOU CAN.

Candida, my star throughout your three years,
You are a brilliant mind with your constant 4.00,
Keep up the hard work and I am sure,
That there is much more for you wherever you go.

Roger my faithful, kind helper,
I’ll never forget you for all you did,
I owe you more than I can very say,
So, accept an IOU to be used any time or day.

Jeron, Giovanni, Xiomara and Rosalie
Be all that you can be,
Because you are each special in every way,
Your success is clear to see.

So THIRD YEARS OF 2008,
You are all standing at the gate.
You have arrived at the top,
Just remember loving must never stop.

You hold the key to your lives in your hands,
Let no one tell you to wait,
You know life and how it stands,
Best wishes as you head out through the gate.

ACHIEVING YOUR GOALS

There are things I would like to say,

There are things that occur each and every day.

They make me want to stand up and scream,

They make me want to give up the dream.

But this life is all we have at this time,

So over the hurdle each must climb.

But please accept that all is possible,

And that no one is invincible.

The heart will accept that what it wants,

And it will make us rave and let out all our rants.

But never give up the struggle to the top,

For the reward you will achieve will make you glad you did not flop!

THE TIME'S UP

Alone I wonder what to do,
Alone I sit and think of you.
The next step I’ll have to take,
Because its one I have to make.

No use wasting time on what will never be,
No use pretending there is a “you and me.”
I lived a dream, I lived a lie,
I lived… but now it must be goodbye.

I was fine in my world of nothingness,
Until you came and filled it with happiness.
But there is not enough for us to be,
So lets close the door… please set me free.

The damage is done but maybe it can heal,
If on my heart I can put a seal.
So close the door and stop your game.
The time’s up but don’t worry you’re my friend just the same.
