COROZAL'S SUNRISE

Living on the coast in the town of Corozal,

Can be very special to one and all.

For the beautiful Corozal Bay glitters,

When the sunrise over it flickers.

Oh, to sit and enjoy nature at its best,

In a place so different from all the rest.

Two Mayan monuments are a part of us,

That offer a past that refuses to become dust.

The friendly people with smiling faces,

You've never seen the likes of so many races,

Joined together and living in harmony,

The wealthy and even those without money.

I think the rays of the sunrise is involved,

I bet it shines out rays of love.

Oh, don't get me wrong we have our problems, too,

But we won't stop and wonder what next to do.

The sunrise is too beautiful to ignore,

So go ahead and open the door.

Let it in your home and your heart,

Trust me, it will be hard to break apart.

For if you want a colourful, peaceful place,

To relax and run away from the old rat race,

You must visit my town of COROZAL,

We welcome you - ONE AND ALL!!
