I CAN AND YOU CAN, OUR TWO GREEN BABY PARROTS

Tame as they can be,

It is plain and clear to see,

That I Can and You Can,

Have adapted to our world.

They come in every morning,

To get their daily meal,

And if you are sleeping,

They'll wake you up with a squeal.

They are officially a part of the family,

And act like two children,

Who walk around quite happily,

As their father talks to them.

Most times they only want affection,

A cuddle and a pat,

Then their wings flutter into action.

As they sit on your shoulder or in your lap.

Nap time may be under the computer table,

While relax music fills the air.

One day they will be chatting and able,

To whistle sweet music so clear.

For now we look on with love and in wonder,

As their presence in our lives is added joys.

We understand why we had to go yonder,

To bring home these two little boys.

So I Can and You Can you are so bright,

And we are happy that you are here,

For you fill our morning and our night,

With your love so special and so dear.
