Why did you have to lie?
I believed we could be
Together -I forgot love sometimes die.
That just goes to show,
That I can still believe,
Words that from you did flow,
Because I never expected you to leave.
The years have gone by really fast,
And once it would have seem like just yesterday to me,
Back then I thought your love would last,
I guess it was because the real you I did not see.
But now my life is challenging and new,
Now there is someone special in my heart,
Now there is new meaning to all I do,
Now I am glad we moved apart.
